Extendable Stainless Steel Straw in Magenta Case : Travel Collection

Imagine, you’re an astronaut on the International Space Station. You’re out on a spacewalk, performing some routine repairs on the exterior on the ship. Everything is going well—you are, after all, an expert astronaut, selected for your enhanced fitness and intelligence. However, as you’re finishing the repairs, you begin to feel tired—delirious even. A sense of panic overcomes you. You know this is not normal. You look around to see what’s wrong and you notice it: your oxygen tether has creased itself. You make your way over to the crease, but by the time you arrive, you’re too fatigued to unfold it. You see a black rim creep into the periphery of your vision, and you feel yourself slipping out of consciousness. “This is the end,” you think. “It’s been a good run.” Suddenly, you have an apophony: "My Swigstick Steel Straw in a Magenta Case.” Luckily, you have it attached on a key ring on your suit for this type of emergency. You unscrew the cap, extract the straw, and extend it full length. Using your last ounces of energy, you perforate one end of the straw into the oxygen tether and thrust your head into the other end as to puncture it through the face shield. Miraculously, this creates an airtight fit on both ends. Oxygen floods into your suit, and you regain your strength. You re-enter the space station, elated to be alive. Now all you must do is fix that suit.
